しょうゆ味のアイス!?
I had been so wondering what the soy source flavour ice cream tastes like for some time seeing it at a local supermarket. And I finally tried it!! One is soy source and the other is "Umi no Shio" - salt from the ocean - flavour. They are soooooo good (very delicate taste) that I regret for not trying earlier!

This company from Tosa in Shikoku Area of Japan makes ice cream and other sweet products using all natural and locally produced ingredients. I love their simple package designs too. I wish I could share the actual ice cream with you, but I can't find the way to do that so here are photos at least..

All below images are from tosa-ice.com (Japanese only).

I love PAUL & JOE BEAUTE package designs! I just went into one of their shops the other day to get a lip stick and was so charmed at these little cute floral pattened packages - the little box for the lipstick, little sachet of UV cream sample and a paper bag!
They do have (even more) special limited collections twice a year which I haven't got a chance to get one yet. I should look out for the next autumn collection release! Following are my favourites from the past collections.
My favourite Tsubaki (Camellia japonica) oil from Kyoto.

Spice bottles.

Pomegranate and apple juice from junzosen 順造選, tasty and good for women's health.

A package arrived out of blue a few days before my birthay from my best friend. I was just so caught by this most beautiful package - paulownia wood box (which is commonly used in Japan for traditional packaging) with exclusive hand painting on top! The pink string bundled is done in the way they do on obi of kimonos and the colour is working perfectly as well.

I was so overwhelmed by its fabulous presentation but inside there were 3 different types of exclusive honey which I absolutely loved!!

This special hand painted box is only available from HACCHI's Shinjuku Takashimaya store.
