Random shots of Kyoto from our January trip (finally). We were told that it was the most quiet time of the year in Kyoto when we visited, it was very cold, but it was so good. It's Kyoto afterall, how can it be not good? It was perfect.
Hiki, these photos are wonderful! Kyoto truly seems to have a different air during the winter. I'm sure the stillness and quiet was a wonderful thing to experience during your trip. I'm also happy to see that little stream again!

Thank you for your lovely comment Mariam! Winter in Kyoto is VERY cold but yes the crisp air makes things look different and quite beautiful (especially seen in the photos I think) :)
