Nakameguro is one of my favourite spots for Sakura, cherry trees are lined along the river for hundres of meters and is pretty at night time with all the lanterns... but it looks like sakura has it's time for this year and will all be gone in a few days with this sudden warm weather.

Yes we do have quite a few good "hanami" spots in Tokyo, believe or not. I used to see some cherry-like blossoms when I was living in Melbourne but they were much smaller and was nothing like what we see here... but i suppose you can see big sakura trees in Paris - so lucky!
